Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu visited Jwalamukhi assembly constituency in Kangra district. During this, he laid the foundation stone of the Electricity Subdivision Office Building in Jwalamukhi and announced to increase the capacity of 33 KV sub-station. Along with this, on the demand of MLA Sanjay Ratna and MLA Kamlesh Thakur, establishment of a new 33 KV sub-station at Dehriyan was also approved. With this, the people of Dehra and Jwalamukhi areas are expected to get relief from the long standing problem of low voltage. Visited Shaktipeeth Maa Jwalamukhi Temple. The Chief Minister started his tour by visiting the world famous Shaktipeeth Maa Jwalamukhi Temple. He prayed for the prosperity of the state. On this occasion, his wife and Dehra MLA Kamlesh Thakur and Jwalamukhi MLA Sanjay Ratna were also with him. Chief Minister Sukhu announced a master plan of about Rs 150 crore for Jwalamukhi, Chintpurni and Naina Devi temples. He informed that Rs 25 crore has been released as the first installment of this scheme. The objective of this master plan is to promote religious tourism. Devotees will get better facilities. Under this scheme, the temple complex, bus stand and surrounding areas will be developed. This will provide better facilities to the devotees and will also create employment opportunities for local shopkeepers and youth. The Chief Minister said that projects worth crores of rupees are being started to strengthen the power system in the volcanic area. This will ensure uninterrupted power supply in the area, which will benefit students and small traders. Complete the development works on priority basis: Sukhu CM directed the officials to complete all the development works on priority basis in a time bound manner. Jwalamukhi MLA Sanjay Ratna expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister. He said that the announcements made by the Chief Minister will prove to be a milestone in the development of the area. MLA Ratna stressed that the 33 KV sub-station and the new project in Deharian will solve the electricity problem.
