Bangladesh defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets in the second ODI match played at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. Batting first, New Zealand was all out for 198 runs, in response to which Bangladesh achieved the target by losing 4 wickets in 35.3 overs.

New Zealand, who came to bat first after winning the toss, did not have a good start and the team kept losing wickets continuously. Nick Kelly definitely took charge of the innings from one end and scored 83 runs in 102 balls, which included 14 fours.
