National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key of JEE Mains 2026 Session 2 and the main answer sheet of the candidates today on April 11 on its official website. Earlier, NTA had released the question paper on 9th April. According to the official notification, NTA can release the result on 20th April.

Download question paper and provisional answer key like this:
- Visit the official website of NTA JEE Main jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link of question paper or answer key.
- Log in to the website by entering the required information.
- Check and download answer key and question paper.
Will release the provisional answer key for Paper 1 and the main answer sheet of the candidates on April 11. After its release, candidates can challenge the provisional answer key within the stipulated time limit. As per the norms, a fee of Rs 200 will be charged for each question. The last date for challenging the answer key has not been specified yet.
Challenge the answer key like this:
- Visit the official website of JEE Main jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Log in by entering application number and password.
- Click on the ‘Answer Key Challenge’ link.
- Select Question ID.
- Upload valid proof of correct answer.
- Pay Rs 200 for each question.
- Submit your response and save the receipt.
NTA will release the final answer key of JEE Mains after the challenge window is closed. After this the result and cut-off of JEE Main 2026 will be released. The result will also include information like cut-off for JEE Advanced, All India Rank Holders and State Toppers. The result is expected to be released on April 20.
11.23 lakh candidates appeared between April 2 and 8.
According to the official notice of NTA, about 11.23 lakh candidates appeared in JEE Mains 2026 Session 2. Between April 2 and 8, NTA conducted computer-based examinations at about 566 examination centers in 304 cities of the country and 14 cities outside the country.
Candidates can download their provisional answer key from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
